Neave’s Story – MusAbility music therapy, vocalising, intent, awareness
19th November 2018
Neave is a gorgeous girly that our Director, Roz, has the pleasure of working with every week. Neave can be a quiet soul, but we always suspected that she was more aware than she led us to believe! Here is Neave in a MusAbility music therapy session at school – she is engaged, deliberately communicating, playing the chimes with intent and looking very happy about it.
Music Therapy can help people to express themselves when they’re not able to use words, and we can support development, expression, communication and many other areas using musical interaction. It’s not JUST about having fun, music therapy is a registered health profession with clinical evidence to support it’s impact! Pretty cool huh?
