MusAbility accept referrals from many sources including self-referrals (client or guardian), GP referrals, healthcare professional referrals (such as from an occupational therapist or speech and language therapist), legal referrals (for example during medical negligence or family court cases) and clinical referrals (such as from a hospital or case manager).
This list is not exhaustive so please enquire if you wish to be referred from elsewhere. Although NHS referrals are accepted, music therapy is unfortunately not currently available on the NHS widely in the North-West. Schools are able to use Pupil Premium payments for music therapy sessions, and often Direct Payments can be used for private clients, where applicable. If you have any questions or enquiries about music therapy or MusAbility, please do not hesitate to contact us.
